Employment Services

Employment Services at Osborne Park Hospital forms part of Area Human Resource Services, North Metropolitan Area Health Service (NMAHS) and is accountable to the Area Director, Human Resource Services.

The Employment Services Co-ordinator provides a consultancy support to managers and staff in areas such as performance, discipline and grievance management. At a strategic level, the Employment Services Co-ordinator supports senior management in staff planning, organisational development, staff attraction and retention and change management matters.

To ensure the provision of comprehensive service delivery, the Employment Services Co-ordinator works in liaison with the other Human Resource business units based at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital which include:

  • Area Workforce Planning and Analysis
  • Area Department of Occupational Safety and Health
  • Area Education & Development Centre

The Area Industrial Relations unit also provides support and advice in industrial matters.

Other core business functions of Payroll and Recruitment & Appointments Management are undertaken by a Corporate Shared Service for "whole of Health" called Health Corporate Network. These services are operated at 81 St Georges Terrace, Perth.
