Pastoral Care

Chaplains and Pastoral Care Assistants are an integral part of the Osborne Park Hospital team that cares for patients. We provide friendship, listening, prayer, spiritual support and Sacramental ministry.

We visit regularly throughout the hospital and are available at all times.

If a patient wishes to be visited by a particular Christian denomination, or clergy of any other other faith we can arrange that.

If desired, bedside Holy Communion and the Sacrament of the Sick can be arranged. Please ask patient caregivers to contact the Coordinator Pastoral Care/Counsellor.

The wishes and religious preference of each person are respected at all times.

The Hospital Chapel

The Chapel is on the ground floor on the south side, opposite the lifts outside Ward 4.

Staff, patients, their families and friends are welcome to visit the Chapel for prayer, shared worship or for a time of personal, quiet reflection.
